Obituary of Charlotte Trickey

CHARLOTTE "NANCY" TRICKEY NANCY SHIEBLER CANANDAIGUA: Charlotte "Nancy" Trickey passed away April 3, 2011 at FF Thompson Hospital. Charlotte was born in Clifton Springs to the late Carl H. and Lillian Bacon Shiebler and was a graduate of Canandaigua Academy. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Principia College in Elsah, IL. She retired in 1996 after over 20 years as an account clerk with Ontario County. Nancy was a member of the Order of the Easter Star for over 50 years and was a member of the Wood Library, Ontario County Historical Society, Sonnenberg Gardens and Happy Tails Humane Society. She was a active volunteer for the Office of the Aging, FF Thompson Hospital and the Canandaigua VA Medical Center. She greatly enjoyed traveling with the Centerfield Homemakers. She is survived by her children Patty Ann (Steven Thompson) Trickey, Canandaigua, Susan M. (Stephen) Russell, El Cajon, CA, Alan W. (Julie) Trickey, Canandaigua, Thomas M. Trickey, Phelps and Tammy L. (Lloyd) DeSerisey, Albuquerque, NM; 16 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and many cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Elizabeth M. Shiebler, Vern Trickey, the father of her children, as well as cousins, aunts and uncles. Friends may call at Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua on Sunday, April 17, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. where an Eastern Star Memorial Service will begin following visitation at 4:00.
