Eve-Lyn Grace Woodard

Eve-Lyn Woodard, of Canandaigua, passed away on January 30, 2011 at The M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center. She would have been 88 years old on January 31, 2011.
Mrs. Woodard was born Eve-Lyn Grace Knapp on January 31, 1923 in Naples. A graduate of Naples High School, she married Kenward Woodard on July 3, 1941. Eve-Lyn studied law, fashion design and culinary arts. She loved to crochet, sew, cook and garden. She taught Sunday school and Vacation Bible School at Crosswinds Wesleyan Church for many years and wrote plays for the children which she directed. She authored a book, Resounding Echoes, which chronicled her late husband Kens life growing up during the Depression Era.
She is survived by her six children, Tyrone (Patti) Woodard, Melanie (Rodney) Dutton, Heidi (Jim) Walsh, Scott (Sheryl) Woodard, Bambi (Coley) King and Collie (Melissa) Woodard; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Kenward Woodard, sister, Adeline (Fenton) Eggleston and a grandson, James Walsh, Jr.
Calling Hours will be Thursday February 3 from 5-8 pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo Street, Canandaigua. A 10:00 am funeral service will be held Friday February 4 at Crosswinds Wesleyan Church. Mrs. Woodard will be buried next to her husband in Canandaiguas Woodlawn Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to; Crosswinds Wesleyan Church, M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center, American Diabetes Assoc. or American Cancer Society.
