Obituary of Richmond Jensen

Richmond P. “Dick” Jensen Aug. 8, 1918-Jan. 24, 2011 Canandaigua, NY Richmond P. Jensen, age 92, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2011. He resided at Thompson Apartments in Canandaigua, NY. He is survived by two daughters, Sharon Van Benthem, and husband Paul; and Cheryl Jensen Osman, and husband Chris; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a sister, Marion; dear nephew, Thomas Hunter III, and many other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Constance (Winn) Jensen, and eight siblings. He hailed from Windsor, CT and worked as a baker in Hartford, CT from the age of 13. He also worked several other jobs to support his family. He was a veteran of WWII, serving with the Army’s 43RD Infantry Division, participating in campaigns in the Philippines and the Solomons. There will be no calling hours. Services are private. Arrangements have been made with Fuller Funeral Home, Inc.
