Obituary of Lena Marafioti

Lena M. Marafioti Beloved “Nana” Canandaigua Of Chapin St. passed away June 19, 2010 at her home. She was 96. Lena was the wife of the late Joseph Marafioti. She attended St. Mary’s School. At one time was employed by the Roper Knit, Corset Factory and also a waitress at the Canandaigua Hotel. Lena was a member of St. Mary’s Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sitting on her porch, and going to the Finger Lakes race Track and Racino. Lena is survived by a daughter June Lincoln Grandchildren; Gina Lincoln, T.J. Lincoln, Cathy Williams, Shelly Peno. Great grandchildren; Ashley Peno, Jadon Williams. Sisters; Gloria Barons, Stella Mary Cardella. Brothers; Pat Cardella of Rochester, Dominic Cardella of Canandaigua, Fred Cardella of Florida. Son in law; John Mundy Several Nieces & Nephews. And her beloved cats Snoopy and Spotty. Lena was predeceased by a daughter Stella Mundy. Friends may call Tuesday from 3pm.to 7pm. at the Fuller Funeral Home 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday 12 noon at St. Mary’s Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Contributions may be made in her name to St. Mary’s Church 95 North Main St. Canandaigua, or a Charity of the donor’s choice.
