Of Elm St. Bloomfield passed away July 12, 2008 at Strong Memorial Hospital after a short courageous battle with cancer. He was 44.
Tom was a graduate of Bloomfield Central School. He enlisted in 1983 in the United States Army where he served in Desert Storm and served for a total of 24 years in the Army. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and playing golf with his friends.
He is survived by his mother Betty Rayburn, brothers and Sisters Hugh (Pam) Rayburn Jr., David (Wendy) Rayburn, Deborah (Jeff) Stonewell, Laura (Walter) Olsen, Kathleen (Gary) Hudson. 12 nieces & nephews, 1 great niece, aunts & uncles and several cousin.
He was predeceased by his father Hugh W. Rayburn Sr. who passed away in 1973.
Friends may call Wed. July 16 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Fuller Funeral Home 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A funeral mass will be held Thu. July 17 at 10 AM. at St Bridget's Church in Bloomfield NY. Burial will be in St. Bridget's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Tom's name to the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center 601 Elmwood Ave. Rochester NY 14642.
