Dear Meg and Jen, It was so good to see you and your Dad, Meg, the last time we were in Buffalo. I missed you Jen, but heard wonderful things about how you are enjoying your job working with horses. That's great! It was a special blessing to be able to sit with your Dad and chat with him. I always liked him. He was easy to talk with and made a point of making people feel special. You were so blessed to have him as a Dad, and he will always be around here as a part of the both of you. God Bless you both during this difficult time. All my love, Your cousin, Betty Haug (Bager)

Dear Meg and Jen, I am deeply sorry to hear about your Dad. He was one of those guys that always had a quick wit and a smart remark for us when he came to town. You couldn't pull the wool over his eyes. And all the times he spent sleeping on Kathy and Mike's couch parking his rig near their house when he passed through Buffalo. He was a hoot and will be missed by all. Our prayers are with you all. He, Your Mom and our Mom are having a time now in Heaven. God Bless you , Marlene, Ed, Greg, and Bryan Davis

Please accept my condolences on your loss. Im sure that Ive met your father in the past around Fine or at St. Michaels Church, when I was living in Fine. My parents Joseph and Monica Shene live in Fine, as did I, and were friends of your father, his family and the rest of Griffin and Brownell Families. I at one time did yard work for your aunt Julia at her home. I used to enjoy discussing our family genealogies with her; in fact I recently discovered some interesting trivia between our two families from a will of the late McCargen estate. I would be happy to share that with you if you have similar interests. In the last several years many former members of our community in Fine and St. Michaels in Fine have passed on, and to me the neighborhood seems less homelike each year.
