Rita E. Henry
CANANDAIGUA: Rita Henry, of Quail Summit, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2007 at F.F. Thompson Hospital. She was the widow of Adelbert Henry.
Rita had been employed by the Daily Messenger for many years and retired from Thompson Hospital where where she had worked in Medical Records. She was a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society and the Canandaigua Country Club. She had been a volunteer for the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association.
She is survived by her sisters Virginia (Clarence) VanOrman of North Caroline and Monica Lindner and Helen Darling both of Canandaigua; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Alwin and Lorraine Henry of Canandaigua and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua, Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, Thursday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be made to St. Mary's Church, 95 North Main St., Canandaigua, NY 14424 or to the Canandaigua Emergency Squad, 233 North Pearl St., Canandaigua, NY 14424
