I was one of the nurses who cared for Sam when he came for treatment at the Wilmot Cancer Center. I am so very sorry that I did not know he had passed away until Friday. I will miss seeing him and Edwina - they were like family eventhough I only cared for Sam for a short time. It was my privilege to care for Sam - and I will miss seeing them. My sincere condolences. I first met Sam in 1967 when I started at Schlegel. I remember that Sam was very serious about quality but he was more than willing to tell a joke or talk gardening. He will be missed.
