Mrs. Van....what a rare treasure. She was a wonderful woman with a great outlook on life. I will miss her so much, especially her sense of humor, and I feel blessed to have had this special friend in my life.

Mickey was a very dear part of our lives. She is "Grandma Van " to our daughters. When we remember her we think of her great laugh and sense of humor and her thoughtfulness to us. She never missed a holiday or birthday greeting! We will miss her very much. Mickey's memory will stay in our hearts.

My Mom told me once that "by the fruit the tree is known". With that in mind I feel that I have known Mrs. Van Keuren for my whole life because of my deep friendship with her sons and Robert and his family in particular. The sense of joy and a fullness of life, squeezing every last drop out of each moment, the wonderful sense of humor, an open and caring heart, love for our fellow beings---those are the greatest gifts a Mom can bestow and through them we honor the life and blessing of Miriam Van Keuren.

In love and remembrance to a wonderful woman. She was a warm and compassionate friend, and never lost her love of life. It is hard for me to think that I will never hear her voice again. God bless you, Mick.

There are no words to express the loss of a mother. My Mom's passing leaves a whole in my heart and my life that will be with me the rest of my life. All who knew my Mom know that she was a not only a very special mother, but a very special person as well. That "Micky smile" will never fade for me and I thank God that He blessed my life with a mother who sacrificed so much in life to raise her children under trying and difficult circumstances. My Mom was a saint and a Godsend to family and friends alike, and her passing leaves a void that cannot be filled. God bless you Mom and farewell, I will see you in heaven someday.

Mrs. Van is what I called this wonderful friend. I spoke to her just recently and she still had that same sense of humor that I always loved. I consider myself so very lucky to have had Mrs. Van for a friend for over 35 years. I Have a picture on my Refrig of the Happy Foursome from the KH, I look at it everyday and a memory comes to me and always brings a smile to my face. Thanks Mrs. Van.

I lived on North Rd. across the hall from Mickey. I haven't seen her in about six years, I think, but she was in my thoughts often. I did love her. She brought me so much joy and laughter. Her spunk and humor was the best of my day when I saw her. I feel your family's loss in some ways, and know how much you all will miss her. You must have some great memories to share with one another. I can see her sitting in her chair with those westerns on. You're all in my thoughts, Keri

There are not enough days in my life time or words to express how much I loved my Mom and the saddness I now have in my heart. Mom, I know your next breath was in Heaven. How very blessed we were to have you for so long. I take great comfort to know that the Lord so gently came for you and put you in his arms to see the face of God. The Heavens must had opened up like a beautful sun rise. I know now you are free of any pain. Thank you for seeing all of us through our birthdays and holidays. Thank you for all those wonderful road trips we took together to the Catskill Mountains. Our world will never be the same without you Mom. You had so many wonderful friends and I was so fortunate to meet many of them in your lifetime. I love you Mom. Till I see you and Dad in Heaven, your twin daughter, Susan.

I met Mikey when I visited a friend at Vienanna Gardens. She had a warm heart and beautiful smile. We corresponded for a couple of years. I will miss hearing from her. My friend Patty and me have so much to thank her for. Life is always brighter when you have a friend to remember.
