Obituary of Mary McKee

MARY McKEE "Mom" BLOOMFIELD: Mary McKee, 93, of Oakmount Road, died Monday, February 18, 2008 at F.F. Thompson Hospital. Mary was born in the town of Bristol on August 9, 1914 to the late Isaac and Fannie Abbey Green. She attended Bloomfield Central School and had been employed by the former Clark's Canning Factory and Rayburn's Laundry. She later worked for Dr. Howard. The widow of Robert McKee, who died in 1978, she is survived by her daughters Mary E. (William) Redman of Mass. And Eleanor McKee of Bloomfield; two grandchildren Mark Redman of Ariz. and Mary Elizabeth (Paul) Lopes of New Hampshire and her twin great granddaughters Mary and Elizabeth Lopes. She is also survived by her aunt Mary Munson Hillenbrand of Canandaigua; her sisters-in-law Dorothy Green of Bristol Valley and Margaret Outhouse of Canandaigua; her brother-in-law Sam (Lucille) McKee of Honeoye; several nieces and nephews including Madeline Lee of Canandaigua and many cousins. She was also predeceased by her step-mother Lyra Green. At Mary's request, there will be no prior calling hours. Graveside funeral services will be held in Evergreen Cemetery, Bristol at noon on Saturday, February 23. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
