Obituary of Volker Klemm
VOLKER GRORG KLEMM
Loving Husband & Father
CANANDAIGUA: Volker Klemm, 38, of the Andrews Road, formerly of Easton, CT, was called home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on January 18, 2007 after he suffered a massive brain hemmorhage from which he could not recover.
He was the beloved husband of Dunja Bibo Klemm, father of Tobias Klemm and stepfather of Bianca, Carina and Anika Koerfer.
Volker was born in Mannheim, Germany on May 4, 1968 to Albert and Agnes Kolf Klemm of Heddesheim, Germany. He was a mechanical engineer but he made his passion his profession by opening the Old Heidleberg German Restaurant in Bethel, CT on May of 2004. It was a dream come true for him. He passionately managed and guided the restaurant along with his faithful staff.
In addition to his wife and children of Canandaigua, he is survived by his parents, his sister Beate Engel, his niece and nephew Katharina and Johannes Engel as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins who all reside in Germany.
Services will be held at the Canandaigua Baptist Church, North Road, Canandaigua, Saturday, January 20, at 2:00 p.m. Services are also planned at the Black Rock Congregational Church of Fairfield, CT where Volker and his wife were members before moving to New York.
Saturday January 20, 2007, 2:00 p.m. at Canandaigua Baptist Church
