Obituary of Richard LaFlam

RICHARD W. LaFLAM "FIREBALL" CANANDAIGUA: Richard LaFlam, 57, of Seneca Point Road, died Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at Strong Memorial Hospital. Rick was born in Newark, NY, on May 28, 1949 to the late William H. and Edith Burden LaFlam. He attended Newark High School and had been chief bus mechanic with the Canandaigua School District. An avid car enthusiast, Rick was particularly fond of Ford Mustangs and attended many car shows in the area. He also enjoyed bowling and golf. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Richard and Cindy LaFlam of Canandaigua; his daughter and son-in-law Stacy and John Paige of Rigby, Idaho; four grandchildren Derek, Trevor, Emily and Lindsey; his sister Judy Carr of Newark and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua, Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Graveside services will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
