Larry was a fine man, and will be missed by all who knew him. We only are here for a short time, enjoy life, as Larry did, and keep it in the fairway.

I first met Larry when I was 15 years old - when I started working for the family book business during Summer breaks. Larry was my first "boss" and I have nothing but good memories working with him over the years. He had an easy going nature and great sense of humor. I feel fortunate to have known him and will miss him dearly.

Slo-Pitch brought Larry and me together some 35 years ago. After games, we'd share a beer (perhaps two)and talk about so much more than softball. Larry was bright, pleasant, and totally unpretentious. I last saw him about a month ago at Clifton Springs Country Club. Still bright, still pleasant, and still unpretentious. Bravo!

We have far too many memories of Larry that we could easily put into words. Larry often offered his wisdom on golf and on life. Those are the memories that will last forever. Rest in peace my friend. You will be missed.

Not only did we have the pleasure of knowing Larry but playing and working with him at Clifton. He was a energetic man with many great ideas. His commitment and dedication to CSCC will truly be missed. Having the opportunity to interact with him has already affected me. I know the staff and members will miss his smile, energy and willingness to help and do anything for anyone. Larry can now play golf without having to set up the range before hand. Have a safe journey my friend.

I had the great pleasure of being a customer of Larrys when he was in the Book Business. For many years I considered him to be a friend, helper, and mentor. Although we have only been in contact a couple of times the last several years, I will miss him. I fondly remember his quick wit, his professionalism in our dealings, and his kind soul. RIP

When I was a bag boy at CSCC, Larry rolled up one day to hit balls. He was blaring the rolling stones from his car and asked me if I liked them. I hadn't really listened to the band before, but his enthusiasm was contagious. Now I am a big fan. Thanks Larry.

Larry was one of the most genuine people I've ever met, and although we didn't see a lot of each other the last few years, we always kept in touch. He was one of the kindest men you could ever know, and he'll be greatly missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Larry was a fine man and truly loved the game of golf. He was always one to offer help when one was in need. He told me that he hated to ride the cart for golf but had to because of the foot problem that was related to his diabetic condition. He was a good man.
