GRIEVE, ROBERT "HUNKY"
CANANDAIGUA: Hunky Grieve, 80, of 80 Parrish St. died Tuesday, May 08, 2007 at Thompson Hospital.
A Canandaigua native, Robert worked for RG & E and the former Roseland Park for several years. Most recently he had been a security guard at the University of Rochester. He served with the U.S. Army during WW-2 and the Korean War. Hunky was a life member of the American Legion and a member and Past Commander of American Legion Post 256 in Canandaigua. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his daughter Mary Jane Martino of Canandaigua; his son Scot (Judy) Grieve of Honeoye; four grandchildren Shannon, Scot Jr., Joseph and Jessica; a great grandchild Aubrie and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua, Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services with military honors will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery, North Pearl St., Canandaigua, Friday morning at 11:00. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Camp Good Days and Special Times, 1332 Pittsford-Mendon Road, Mendon, NY 14506.
