I also knew Barbie in college. We played sports together. She always had a hearty laugh and a gentle heart. We fell out of touch, but never out of thought. I imagine she has them chuckling up above.

To The Family of Barbie Meath. Barbie was a sparkle of joy and laughter to everyone who knew her. I remember CA soccer games with her, she brought enthusiasm to everyone around her. Those GAA sleepovers in the CA gym, Barbie could keep you going until the next morning with activities. Canandaigua will surely miss this wonderful lady. My thoughts and prayers are with you doing this time. God Bless You Barbie..Sincerely, Darryl

Barb will be greatly missed because of her compassion and ability to make me see what I was doing. We worked in the yard together and went to classes together at Ruthanne's. I will remember her ready smile and her ever present hugs when I needed one. The world has lost a beautiful soul and Heaven is rejoicing because a beautiful soul has returned home.

We gave Barb the nickname "Harriet" after the character in the book, Harriet the Spy - a delightful, inquisitive, fun to be around person who will be sorely missed by all who knew her. From all the Withingtons, we will always love you Harriet. Godspeed my friend.

Barb was one of the most positive and dedicated employees of the Department of Social Services. She always greeted you with a smile and would never hesitate to offer a suggestion. She had a difficult job and performed it in a magnificent manner. It was an honor to know her.

When we think of Barb what comes to mind is her sense of humor and all those jokes she liked to crack. Barb loved to make Fran laugh and every time she did they would do a 'high five'. Barb will be missed terribly and remebered fondly.

Sending condolences to Barb's family and friends. Barb always brightened our CA practices in the 1970's. Her enthusiasm and leadership helped us all to be better teammates. I enjoyed meeting her on the soccer team as well as at Sonenberg Playground. sincerely, Karen Checho

I am so sad to hear of my child hood friend Barb passing away. I have many great memories of Barb growing in on Charlotte st with our gang of freinds in the 1960's. Barb was a great friend. I will always remember how competative she was in every sport we played and how GOOD she was at playing them. Another good memory is going over to Barbs house on Sundays to watch football with her and her mother and our friend Tim Welch. Barb was such a stronged willed person. I saw her less and less as the years have passed but I will always hold onto those childhood memories for the rest of my life. May you rest in peace my friend. Love, Ceasar Ricciotti, Corvallis, Oregon

"Barbie" was such a special friend to me the years we spent at CA. All the softball games we played together and her pushing me to go after the MVP award I acheived in my senior year 1975. But it was more than the "team spirit" she carried. It was all of the smiles she brought to all of the people she touched. It is with a very heavy heart that I say good bye to my friend, but I know she still smiles down on us all. With Love to my friend, my smiles to you always !

It seems I have known "Barbie" my entire life. First memories are of years of events at the YMCA as kids. Despite her health issues she was always "up" for anything, lots of fun, and full of compassion for others. She touched many lives during her short life - young and old. I am so glad that I was one. I offer deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to her wonderful family and devoted friends.
