Dear Kurzejeski Family, Due to scheduling conflicts I was unable to attend Alma's services. I want you to know I enjoyed talking with Alma for she was open and frank in discussing issues whether local, state or national. I will miss her, but have wonderful memories of our conversations. May all of you be sustained by your fond memories of Alma. I know I will. May she rest in peace.

I am not able to come to the funeral home as I am ill with my January bout with pneumonia. Please excuse my absence. I really wanted to come and say my goodby's in person. I would have loved to see your grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I was remembering with my son Ron today how Margaret took care of him after school and how Aunt Alma used to make him toast. We didn't have such luxeries as a toaster and Ronnie loved toast. Guess you know what you gave him for Christmas that year. He loved coming to your house. As you know, "Little" John called me and told me you were in the hospital. The next day I came to see you. It was really great to see you and to visit. Much better than leaning on grocery carts forever at Wegmans. It seems if we only ran into each other every two or three years we could pick up the conversation right where we left off. We had some wonderful times together Alma. Memories I will cherish forever. I seem to remember wallpapering. Even though we worked hard it was really fun. The fellowship alone was a treasure. As long as the coffee didn't run out. I really wanted to see everyone, especially Margaret. I know I wouldn't recognize her. Well my Dear Alma, did I ever tell you that I love you ? Well I always have. Thank you for always being so good to me. "Till we meet again" My drink of preference isn't coffee anymore. See if you can find some White Zinfindel (chilled) and we'll tip one when we do meet again. Love, Janet

Alma is my mother Superior. She mentored me at Mobile Chemical. She was 22 years older than I and yet she ran circles around me - even on the most intense lines. She taught me more than how to pack. She taught me compassion for and how to teach those less capable. She taught me to appreciate times going well. She taught me to appreciate and trust our good bosses - Mike Kennedy & Will Ambrose. She taught me to "DO CAKE!!!" She is in the fiber of my fabric as her lesson is universal. Her lesson is love.

Margaret I'm so sorry for your loss. There are no words or amount of time that can take away the pain you are feeling. Time, will however, allow you to reflect back on all the good times you had with your mom and will bring a smile to your face. You have so very many people that care about you and we are all here for you. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
