I want to thank everyone for remembering my mother. I was so sad today, not being able to be at her service, due to work constraints. I chose to be with her during her last few days, which were, sadly, in the hospital. I am truly glad I had that time with her, but more than that, I am happy she enjoyed her last months at Quail Summit. We had a wonderful week together this summer on the lake and I know she is at peace. I am so grateful for her gift of faith in my life. I have moved through adulthood with a great set of life skills - taught to me by Mom. She did so many things so well, and made it her mission to pass those skills and intention of quality on to her children. We were truly blessed to have her for our mother. I will miss her so. Thank you all for your love and caring.

I sang with Carol for years in Sweet Adelines. She was a peach and so talented! I am glad that I knew her and I learned about sewing and cooking from her!
My sympathies to you all.

David, Janet, Alan and Steven - we're so sorry to hear about Aunt Carol, but from what it sounds like she was going through these last few months, she is surely in a better place now. I can just picture her with Uncle Phil, having a good visit "up there" with my parents, as they often liked to do. What I will always remember most about Aunt Carol was the wonderful Thanksgiving dinners we had at your house, and the Oestreich "get togethers" at the farm - she always made sure everyone was fed and well taken care of! I'm just sorry I hadn't been to visit her at Quail Summit - I was planning to do that over the holidays until I heard she was in the hospital. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you - please let us know what we can do to help you. Love, Catherine and family
