Ferrari, T. Albert Bus
Canandaigua- Albert Ferrari went home to be with the Lord Friday, February 6, 2015.
He was born on April 28, 1912 in Nitro, West Virginia. In his 102 years Albert touched many lives. A true southern gentleman, he always saw the good in people.
Albert was predeceased by his first wife Juanita Nita Ferrari; his parents Florence (Nichols) and Dominic Ferrari, and six brothers.
He is survived by his loving wife Mildred Roat Ferrari, four stepsons, their wives, and four grandchildren. Albert is also survived by his cherished family of brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Bus, as he will lovingly be remembered, grew up in South Charleston. He graduated from SCHS, then Marshall College (now University), where he was a proud member of the Thundering Herd football team. He was a devoted and long time member of First United Methodist Church on Glendale Avenue and retired from FMC South Charleston Plant after many years of service.
His funeral service will be held in West Virginia. Memorial donations may be directed to the MU Foundation, designated for the Theron Albert Ferrari Scholarship Fund. Send to Marshall University Foundation, 519 John Marshall Dr., Huntington, WV 25701.
