Heidi, my thoughts & prayers are with you & your family. Losing a parent is one of the toughest times to go through, but you will get through this. We never forget, but it gets easier in time. You are making your father very proud with all your accomplishments. Love ya!

My condolences. Ray & I were fellow employees at the Rochester DuPont Plant about "100 years" ago. He was a "fun" guy to work with.

I met Ray when I attended a Radio Procedures Course when I was a Volunteer. Over the years I got to visit the Communications Center (before the 9-1-1 Center opened), he explained the operation and what was expected of a Dispatcher to help the public in their time of need. I still laugh when I think of the recordings he used in those classes. Ray was a true gentlemen and will be missed by all who knew him. May you know that his memory with remain with all who knew him and respected him. He is one of the main reasons I became a Dispatcher.

Ray you will be missed. Every dispatcher tried to imitate you. You set a high standard. As one of the first civilians in the fire alarm office you were welcoming and made sure that we knew our job. Thanks very much for everything Ray. It was so much fun to work with Group II.

Ray was a GREAT man in every respect. He deeply touched the lives of many in his family life. Professionally his dedication to the safety of the people of the City of Rochester & Monroe was exceptional. Ray taught the first generation of Monroe Countys professional public safety telecommunicators and dispatchers the importance of caring and dedication to service. He led by example, mentoring and caring. His professionalism lives on everyday in emergency communications.
It was an honor to serve with Ray and to be counted among his friends.

Ray helped teach my class when I was hired at the then Office or Emergency Communications in July 1984. I remember him as funny, personable and extremely dedicated to the job of dispatching. He was a class act in every sense of the word and I am honored to have learned from him. Rest in peace, Ray. Your job is done, sir.
