Ronald Cox of Curran Rd. passed away November 5, 2009 surrounded by his family and friends at F.F. Thompson Hospital. He was 71.
Born in Oneida N.Y. April 29, 1938, Ronald was the son of the late Hollis and Eitha Cox. Graduating from Canastota High School in 1956 he served with the U.S. Air force until 1960. Ronald was a business partner in BB&R Electric located Shortsville N.Y. He enjoyed special times with his family, going to his camp in Inlet N.Y. and boating on Canandaigua Lake.
Ronald was married to Vera Smith for 27 years and is survived by a Sister, Nancy Heintz of Williamstown N.Y., many nieces and nephews and a brother-in-law Darwin Cordell. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister Sharon Cordell.
Friends may call Sunday November 8 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Ext. Canandaigua N.Y. A funeral service will be held Monday November 9, 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lenox Rural Cemetery in Canastota N.Y.
