Obituary of John Snyder

JOHN SNYDER Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother & Friend CANANDAIGUA: John Snyder, 60, of Thomas Road passed away on Oct.25, 2014 at Strong Memorial Hospital. John was born in Rochester to the late Harry and Emily Viola Snyder. He was a graduate of John Marshall High School and was employed by Thermo Fisher Scientific (Nalge)in Penfield for over 35 years where he had been a Senior Production Planner and Manufacturing Supervisor. He was an avid golfer and a NASCAR fan. He loved the outdoors but his first love was his family. Survivors include his wife Patricia (Vandy) Snyder, of Canandaigua; his children Mike (Lisa) Snyder, Gates, Paul (Megan) Snyder, Spencerport, Stacie (Joe) Antonio, Ogden and Sasha (Justin) Swank, Phelps; grandchildren Kylee, Kaitlynn, Dylan, Aubrie and C.J., his sister Wanda (Marc) Snyder-Bush, Morgan Hill, CA and his brother Harry (Gail) Snyder III, Rochester. John is also survived by many special friends including Mike & Shiela Hayes, Budman & Molly Nier and Ken & Tina Christopher. Friends are invited to call at Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. where services will follow visitation at 5 o'clock. Nate Harris will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. It has been suggested that memorial contributions be directed to the American Cancer Society, 1120 South Goodman St., Rochester, NY 14620.
