Hello Alan, My prayers to you for the loss of your aunt. I grew up next to she and Mr. Pierce. She always had a smile on her face and I loved exploring the "secret" pathways Mr. Pierce put on their property. Her love of reading rubbed off on me too. I cared for Mr. Pierce as a young adult. I took Ginger outside and gave Mr. Pierce his lunch that Mrs. Pierce had lovingly prepared before leaving for work and I kept him company in the afternoons until Mrs. Pierce returned from work. I saw their interaction ...such love and devotion. My dad aided Mrs. Pierce the day of the passing of Mr. Pierce. I also have a sketching that he did of a pond on Baptist Hill...it has moved with me many times. I have often wondered about Mrs. Pierce. May she be dancing with Mr. Pierce now.
