Obituary of Dorothy Crowley

DOROTHY CROWLEY, 89, died May 10, 2014. She was born in Canandaigua on April 1, 1925 to the late Frank and Myrtle Skinkle Uhl and was a graduate of Canandaigua Academy. Dorothy had been employed by various local companies but her true devotion was to her family. She loved her home and especially her flowers and was an avid card player. The widow of Richard T. Crowley, who died in 1980, she is survived by her children Sharon Hayes, Richard (Robyn) T. Crowley II, Robert Crowley and Sandra (Doug) Stone; grandchildren Melissa (Tony) Natale, Tyler Hayes, Ryan (Gina) Crowley, Rayna (Ted) Laranjo, Tiffany Tomzak, Justin Tomzak and Tessa Stone; six great grandchildren; sister Arlene Hubbard, brother-in-law Don Baier, sister-in-law Virginia Crowley and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law Terry Hayes in 2008. Friends may call at Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. where services will follow visitation at 7 o’clock. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery will be private. It has been suggested that memorials be directed to the Woodlawn Cemetery Chapel Restoration Fund, 130 North Pearl St., Canandaigua, NY 14424.
