ALBERT W. WILT
BLOOMFIELD: Albert Wilt, 80, of Bloomfield Meadows, died April 28 at Thompson Hospital
Al was born in Bath, NY to the late Charles and Sadie Wilt. He was an active member of the Aloquin Methodist Church where he had been a Lay Leader and he and his late wife were active in the Walk to Emmaus program through the church. He was also a Chaplain Volunteer at Thompson Hospital for over twelve years and lately he had become involved with the East Bloomfield United Methodist Church.
The widower of Jacqueline "Jackie" Wilt, who died in 2013, survivors include their children Samuel (Nora) Wilt, Randy Wilt, Steven Wilt, Timothy (Noemi)Wilt, Michelle Gibbs, Robert (Cheryl) Modzel, Barbara (William) Mack, Susan Modzel, Ricky (Cindy) Modzel, Wendy Demanchick, Arthur Modzel, Fred (Cindy Hinds) Modzel and Kathleen (Jeffrey) Smith;35 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; his sisters Mae Aungst, Joyce Hamblin and Edith Short and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sons Charles Modzel and David Wilt and by his brother Charles Webster.
Friends may call at Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St. Friday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. where services will follow at 2:00. Burial will be in the East Bloomfield Cemetery. It has been suggested that memorials be directed to the Aloquin Methodist Church.
