"To Everything There is A Season. A Time, A Place, A Reason". Although it has been many years since our paths crossed, I am heartbroken over the loss of your son and am holding you all in my thoughts and prayers. My 17 year old son just returned home from a trip to China and our daughter attends college in San Francisco CA. Their fierce independence is a quality I admire but, as parents, it can be unsettling. John sounds like he lived life to its fullest and was successful in his life's pursuits. You have every reason to be proud of him and every reason to grieve his loss. He was taken to young and I am sorry for your loss. Love and Hugs From Meg, Gerry, Katie and Ben Alberry

John, Diane and Family:
My heart goes out to all of you. I haven't seen Tom in years, but remember the cute, sweet little boy that would always be on the porch in Shortsville with his mom when I dropped my own son off for Diane to babysit. Sometimes, Tommy would ask for a "good-bye" kiss from me, too, before I left for work. I'm deeply saddened.

I remember the Thorpe Family from when I taught Kdg. at RJC. Deirdre made a small Xmas pillow for me that is still in a doll's crib. I am not sure that I had Tom, but his family was always so nice. I am very sorry for the loss that you are all going through at this time. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I was thinking about Tom a couple of weeks ago, and wondering what he was up to. We used to be in Math class in HS and he would always ask me how to finish his math problems. Too bad I usually didn't know the answers myself! I will also remember sitting on the bus together when going on field trips. He came by to give congrats when we graduated, but I wasn't there to greet him. I wish now that I had been. He was a wonderful, sweet guy, and it saddens me that he's gone. I will miss him.

I am terribly sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I never spent a great deal of time with him, but we were acquainted. He was a very kind and gentle person and constantly talked about his family. I remember him showing up at my house one day with big hugs for my mom and I, just to sit and talk. He was a very sweet person and I know he'll be greatly missed. My thoughts are with his family during this sad time.

My heart is filled with sadness over the tragic loss of my nephew Tom. I wish everyone could have known Tom the way I knew him. He was kind, gentle, and mostly loving. I will never forget how he would curl up with me on a couch...all 6ft of him.. to snuggle me and tell me how much he loved me. And those hugs....he would hug you so close and so tight. You are now safe in Gods hands. I know he will hold you close like you held all of us. I will miss Tom.
