I've known John from the time when I was a young boy (over 30 years now). John Gfeller was the Bristol Fire Department, and the Bristol Fire Department was John Gfeller. There is no other way to put it. John was a great friend, mentor and role model in the fire service, and his loss will be felt for many, many years. I can honestly say that as a firefighter that John forgot more than many people will ever know. My heartfelt condolences go to John's family, and to each and every member of the Bristol Fire Department. Thank you for blessing all of our lives through John.
