Obituary of Naomi S. Gilbert

Naomi Gilbert formerly of Manchester, NY passed away on October 22, 2019 at the age of 105 in Owego, NY where she had resided in recent years. She was born on September 26, 1914 in Tioga, Pennsylvania and was predeceased by her husband, Lynn; a sister, Leah Nash and a brother, Clair Reynolds. Naomi survived by a son, Charles Gilbert (Suzanne) of Owego, NY, daughter, Oressa Brown of Henrietta, NY.; her grandchildren, David Gilbert, Woodbridge, VA, Tracy (Nicholas) Harbol, Owego, NY, Kelly Volonino (Louis), Chili, NY, Tricia Brown, Henrietta, NY, Christopher (Lisa) Brown, Henrietta, NY and great grandchildren, Lily and Lucas Harbol, Andrew and Marissa Volonino, Ryan Brown, Brianna and Nicholas Brown. Naomi was a former member of the Grange in Bloomfield, a member of the Bloomfield Senior Citizens and a life time member of the Rebekahs. She loved her vegetable garden each summer and was a great baker, especially pies. Friends may call at Fuller Funeral Home, 190 Buffalo St., Canandaigua, New York, on Saturday, October 26 from 2-4pm.
