Our thoughts are with the Hoercher family. May her spirit live on in her new grandaughter. It was was touching that the BMSP wore their jackets to the funeral. I know that she was a presence there for a long time!!

Marykae was one of the sweetest people I have ever know. At the same time, she had a quiet strength that came through in many ways, especially when it involved skiing and ski patrol. Bob and I were so sorry that we couldn't have been there as part of the "sea of red". Ironically, it was a ski patrol committment that prevented us from being there. I know Marykae would have understood that duty comes first in that "world". Nevertheless, she was in my thoughts often throughout the day. MaryKae, you will be sorely missed.

The patrol came out in force today to share our grief ~ your brother and sister gave us some wonderful stories, and now I can't stop singing "All my Loving" in my head. The sea of red jackets was a comforting sight, and I hope your family will always regard BMSP as their family too.

My sincere condolences to the Hoercher family. May God provide the family with strength during this time of sorrow; and may you all find comfort in his promises soon to come (Isaiah 33:24 and John 5:28,29).

God bless Marykae and sending prayers to her family. Thinking of you. Marykae was a lovely person, inside and out, and while she was taken from us much too early, her beautiful spirit will live on. Love, the Rocca family (Steve, Diane, David, Ashley, Ryan, Brena and Jason)
