Obituary of Michael Weissend

WEISSEND, Michael Andrew (Welsh) Beloved husband, father, son Stanley/Canandaigua- Michael Weissend, 32, passed away suddenly January 14, 2013 at F.F. Thompson Hospital. Mike was an avid football (Go Bills!) and baseball (Boston Red Sox) fan and had an off-beat and wonderful sense of humor that everyone so enjoyed. He always made us laugh. He loved playing golf, but most of all loved being with his family. He was born at Barksdale AFB in Bossier City, LA and traveled to many places as a child. He worked at Williamson Law Book Co in Victor for the past 8 years as a Software Support Technician. He will be so very profoundly and sadly missed by his loving wife, Crystal (Jensen) Weissend; daughter, Ava; son, Parker; all at home. Mother, Norma Weissend, Canandaigua; father, Timothy Welsh, Phelps; sisters, Heidi Welsh and Mary Welsh, Canandaigua; grandmother, Elizabeth Weissend; mother-in-law, Teresa Jensen, Middlesex; father-in-law, Todd (Jean) Jensen, Fairport; sisters-in-law, Mahalee (Chad) Glitch, Potter; Jordan Jensen, Middlesex; brothers-in-law, Trevor Jensen, Middlesex; Brendon Anderson, Fairport; special uncles and aunts, John (Cheryl), Charlie (Cindy), Andy (Lynn), Amy, Mary (Marty), Patrick (Peggy), and Mark (Lisa) Weissend; and many, many loving aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mike was predeceased by his grandfather, Bruce Weissend. Friends may call Friday January 18 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A 10 a.m. funeral Mass will be held Saturday January 19 at St. Mary’s Church, 95 N. Main St. Canandaigua.
