Thoughts and prayers to the family. When we were kids we were only a year a part in age, I think that is why we were close. I will always remember the fun times we had, the jokes and pranks you and Roger always played on me... You and Daddy Long Legs in my hair will always me a part of me. Love you Paul..

Paul, you were the best Charlie :) the 26 years I have known you we never had a bad word to say to each other, when your brother would go into the hospital countless times these past 2 1/2 years you always called me to see how me and the girls (your neices ) were doing .I remember speaking with you on 11/21/12 when your brother was in the hospital and you told me to kick his ass for you we laughed and i said your turn to kick it for me and you said i will send him down here , well i did just that on 11/23/12 you at that point had become ill and ended up on life support by the 25th ans for some reason i never got to speak to you again and you never kicked his ass for me, so you see Charlie you still owe me and one day i will collect. Your neices Kaylee and beth love uncle Charlie then, now, and forever I will certainly miss you it was you that helped me so many times on the other end of the phone thru the rough times i was having with your brother, I wish I could of helped you when you needed it the most I love you Paul Layton thanks for being the best brother in law in the world ya i have other brother in laws which I love dearly and in special ways but none that talked to me like you did R.I.P. see you on the flip side , Love T. that's what you always called me but i don't have to remind you of that do I ? see ya later brother

Going up on the hill will never be the same for me and I'm sure many others. I am so thankful too have had you in my life. You taught me so much but the one that has stuck with me the most is how too have a great sense of humor. I can proudly say I got that from you. We would alway's call each other just too make each other laugh there wasn't a time I didn't get off the phone with you not wiping my tears from laughing so hard at eather the joke's you made or just from hearing your laughter. I will be strong and remember our talks and have no choice but too smile. I Love you alway's and forever uncle, paul.

So as I sit here and try to come up with something to say, I still can't believe that you are really gone...You were so many things Uncle Paul, to so many people, you were a husband, a father, a son, a Grandpa, a brother and a very special Uncle who I got the pleasure of living next to almost my whole life... I could sit here and write a few memories but it would take me forever to do so, being that you have been a part of my every day life... So all I want to say is thank you from the bottom of my heart for loving me like I were your own, for always listening to me when I needed someone to talk to, (you always did know what to say to make me smile) and thank you for being such a wonderful Uncle to my kids... They love they're Uncle Paul with all of their hearts... As do I and Dustin... Please, tell Grandpa I love him and give him a big hug from me... I will love you, always and you will forever hold a special place in my heart... Till we meet again my sweet Uncle Paul... Love, Jennifer, Dustin, Anessa, Brittany, Connor, Austin and Jason
