Obituary of Lyle Preston Sr.

Lyle C. Preston Sr. a/k/a Chief Canandaigua- Lyle Preston, 79, died at Rochester General Hospital on July 16, 2012 after a battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, June; children, Mary Ann (Hank) Trickey, Sharon Melville Moore (Mitch) Moore, Doug (Kathy) Preston, Kathy (Ed) Walsh, Lyle (LeAnne) Preston Jr., 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; sisters, Marie (Leo) Zeh, Geraldine (Gip) Gibson; brother, Eben Preston; brother-in-law, Lavaine Keeler, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Keeler, and a grandson, Christopher Preston. Lyle was an Eastman Kodak retiree who enjoyed spending time with family, his dogs, Danny and Penny, and tending to his flowers. Friends may call at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua, on Thursday, July 19 from 5-8 p.m. An 11 a.m. funeral service will be held Friday July 20 at the funeral home.
