Mickey
Canandaigua-Lillian Anthony, 88, of Highland Terrace, passed away peacefully June 27, 2012 at Hospeace House, to join her best friend and husband, Richard E. Anthony.
Born in Perry, NY, to the late Paul and Stella Michalski, Mickey graduated from Perry High School and continued her education at John Hopkins Hospital School of Nursing.
Mickey served with the U.S. Army, as a nurse, at Walter Reed Hospital during WWII, where she met her future husband, Dick Anthony.
She enjoyed bowling, golf, was an avid reader and card player, but most of all she cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren.
Mickey is survived by her son, Jeff Anthony (Rhoda Childs); daughter, Chris Anthony; grandchildren, Sean and Todd Anthony; their mother, Debbie Anthony; and nieces, Marcia and Pam Michalski.
The family invites friends to call Sunday July 8 from 1-3 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A 3 p.m. memorial service will immediately follow at the funeral home. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
