Obituary of Charles Wilkins

Charles F. Wilkins Canandaigua- Charles Wilkins, 85, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at F.F. Thompson Hospital, joining his beloved wife Elizabeth. Born in Rochester, Charles recently moved back to the area from Lake Worth, Fl. to be with his sister, Margaret and her family. He was a devoted Christian and believed strongly in family; Charles was an inspiration, and a true role model. He served his country with the U.S. Army during World War II. Charles is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Helen Wilkins; wife, Elizabeth; brothers, Walter and Edward; sister, Jean; and grandson, Chuck. He is survived by his sons, Joe (Marcia), Chuck, Steve (Debi); grandchildren, Wendy, Joe, Elizabeth, Cora, Douglas, and Matthew; great grandchildren, Jadelyn, Jayce, Blake and Mulan; sisters, Margaret Mac Neal, Virginia (Dave) Robbins , and many nieces and nephews. A 1:00 pm funeral service will be held Wednesday June 6 at the Canandaigua United Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Rochester.
