Carol Parks was such a sweet, caring person. My boys knew her as their art teacher at LCS and the person who waited with them after school when I picked them up at the end of the day. My 12 year-old son has told me more than once that she was one of his favorite teachers. Her kindness, gentle ways, and caring made a difference in the lives of children. I loved talking with her too, and I look forward to talking with her again someday. Family, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I loved how Carol loved life, loved her family and loved her friends. She always made me feel welcome offering that special cup of hot chocalate or coffee. Have so many good memories with her and daughters Vicki & Peggy. We swam, played "garbage" and just enjoyed being together. I will miss Carol's sweet smile and sense of humor! But I have this hope of seeing her again and grateful she is now "home free" of pain and basking in the presence of the Lord.

Dear family and friends of Carol,
Carol held a special place in our hearts during our years at LCS. She and Josh, our 12 year old, had a special connection that's often hard to come by. She reminds me of "In quietness and trust is your strength", from Isaiah 30:15. We will miss her, but we we rejoice that she is pain free and in the presence of Jesus.

Dear Family of Carol, Carol was one of the kindest people I have ever met. She was one of the first to welcome me to the staff of Lima Christian School. She radiated the love of Christ and everything was warmer & sweeter when she was here at LCS. We love you Mrs. Parks & will miss you.

I can hardly begin to express how special Carol was to me. She always encouraged and helped even when I didn't ask. She made me feel welcomed and loved when I first arrived at Lima Christian School. Our friendship grew quickly because she is a hugger just like me. I will miss her hugs, smiles, and encouraging words. I learned to love Carol. She touched my heart with her sweetness. I am truly bless to call her my friend. I miss her but I know I will see her again someday. I'm sure she is having fun hugging lots of friends in heaven! I love you Dear Carol! I'll see you later!

I was blessed to meet Carol, Peggy, Vickey & Anna in 2008. After several visits with Carol she told me we were sisters, what an honor.
Her smile was bright, her eyes twinkled and her love of God, family & friends was evident. Thank you Carol for coming into my life. I will keep you close in my heart.

Carol is one of the most selfless, persevering women I've ever known. I so enjoyed working with her on the LCS yearbook; thank goodness she helped me along! I realized her effectiveness as my children's art teacher when my daughter (at 10 years old) spouted off a wealth of art knowledge about artists, mediums, history, and styles while touring the Chicago Art Institute with me. Carol was petite, but mighty!! We love you, dear lady and friend.
