Sheila and I were saddened to hear of Bob's passing. As a young married couple trying to make ends meet in a 135 year old house on Egypt Valley Road many years ago, Bob saw me trying to dig by hand a 4 ft deep trench for a new water line to our creek. I was young and strong, not having much money but Bob took pity on us and came and used his backhoe to much more easily make the project successful. Bob and his family were and are, good, solid Americans which we need more of today.
