I just wanted to share that Mrs. Shamp was a favorite teacher of mine at PYE. My favorite memories of her class are that after lunch she would read to us from the tales of "Mr. Lobster" I have enjoyed reading very much ever since.
I just wanted to say that I am sorry for your loss.

Barbara was a very special lady. It was my privilege to call her my friend through many years at the quilt guild. Barbara was a great leader, a talented quilter, and a dear lady. She will truly be missed. If there is quilting in heaven, she will already be making it a more colorful place.
