Merton T. Page
Loving husband, father, grandfather
Penn Yan- Merton Page, 89, of West Lake Rd., former Honeoye Lake resident, passed away February 21, 2012 at Geneva General Hospital after a brief illness.
Merton was born in Rochester and, as a child, was raised in Manchester.
He served with the U.S. Army during WWII and was a member of the Rochester Pipefitters Union, Local 13.
Merton was predeceased by his wife of 56 years; Eleanor.
He is survived by his children; Sherry Spencer, of Penn Yan, Marlene (Tim) Gulick, of Williamson, Scott Page, of Wolcott, and Renee (Carl Rought) Owen, of Penn Yan, eleven grandchildren; Daniel Spencer, Amy Anderson, Kimberly Caruso, Sandra Cassford, Christina Grey, Tanya Kent, Dominic Owen, Tony Owen, Kasey Owen, Shawn Owen, John Drozda, seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family invites friends to call Thursday (today) February 23 from 4-7 pm at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. A 10 am funeral service will be held Saturday February 25 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 365 Parrish St. Canandaigua. Interment will be in Sand Hill Cemetery.
