Dear Dad, I am so very sorry that I did not stay in better touch with you. I am sorry for being and doing a lot of things. Most of all I am sorry I did not call to tell you how much I truly loved you and you were the best friend a daughter could have. Thank you so much for never giving up on me, even when I gave up on myself. Thank you for always being there for me even when I knew it was hard for you. I miss you even more now than ever. I will do all that mom will allow me to do for her. I will be a better daughter to her. Thank you so much for the years of encouragement, support, and kicks in the rear. Thank you for all the smiles, jokes, talks and so much more. I love you and miss you. Love , Christie

Dearest Gordie - A psychic link between us exists forever. Although I have not crossed paths with you in years, you were on my mind and tripping through my head on the day you passed. I was wondering how you were and what you were doing now...
Peace and love be with you my friend.

My memories go way back, to the late 60's and 70's in Orleans County, to the red brick house on Roosevelt Highway, to working with Gordy on the highways and byways--how long ago that seems. I remember a professional police officer, a great Trooper, firm and feared yet fair and understanding. He was one of the "good ones" from the old days.
How strange the way our paths are close and then leave us. It has been SO many years since I last saw you, lost track of you--sorry.
My best to Virginia and Vanessa, you may barely remember me.
May you rest in peace.

Dearest Uncle Gordon, What a remarkable Man you were. You treated Auntie Virginia like your queen, you just smiled when she painted the Kitchen every other day and brought in another stray cat or fed another Skunk. Most Men would have been pissy but not you, you loved her unconditionally, she always had her Coffee in bed because you would deliver it to her and didn't mind that she slept in so late. You included me in trips to Muscalange Lake and even though you knew Vanessa and I were drunk, you didn't say a word. I guess my Pucking by the outhouse was enough punishment. I saw Tootsie with you, (I always mention that when I see a repeat on T.V.) Always a jokester, never complained even when you had to drag that darned oxygen tank around. I didn't see you a lot but when I did, you always made me feel pretty, always made me feel like I mattered. It's easy for me to say, "you were my Favorite Uncle." I will miss your sense of humor, I will miss having to wear turtlenecks around you, (hehe) I know my beautiful Aunt will miss you but I promise, I will make sure she is okay. You will never be replaced because special Men like you are rare to find. I know your running in the Clouds now, and breathing on your own. Your with your Family that went before you and I know there is a huge celebration up there in Heaven. This isn't goodbye, this is just, "until we meet again, thank you for making such an impact on my life." Love you, Love you, Love you.
