Obituary of Marian Rice

Marian K. Rice Hopewell- Marian K. Rice, 95, of Smith Rd., passed over on February 13,2014 at her home. Marian was born August 25, 1918 in Honeoye Falls to the late George and Virginia J. (Barnum) King. She and her husband owned and operated Rice’s T.V. and Appliances on Bristol St. in Canandaigua from 1954 to 1981. They were members of the Shufflers Dance Club. She was predeceased by her husband of 74 years Frank A. Rice and all her siblings. Marian is survived by sisters-in-law, Ethelda Wilsea-Outhouse, of Manchester, Helen King, of Hemlock; and many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call Monday, February 17, from 6-8 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo St. Canandaigua. An 11 a.m. funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 18, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
