Obituary of June Preston

“Wegman’s Cookie Lady” June C. Preston Canandaigua- June Preston, 86, died peacefully October 11, 2013 at F.F. Thompson Hospital. She is survived by her children, Mary Ann (Hank) Trickey, Sharon Melville Moore (Mitch) Moore, Doug (Kathy) Preston, Kathy (Ed) Walsh, Lyle (LeAnne) Preston; grandchildren, Jeff and Chad Trickey, Kelly and Tyler Moore, Joshua and Shawn Preston, Jessica and Eddie Walsh, Lyle III, Cyle and Jason Preston; six great grandchildren, with number seven to arrive in January; sister, Norma (Lewis) Drake; several nieces and nephews; special family, Mark (Noel) Porretta, Carolyn (Jerry) Killigrew, Gary (Judy) Patterson, the “Wegman Girl’s” and the Silver Sneakers Group. She was predeceased by husband, Lyle in 2012; grandson, Christopher Preston, and sister Marion Hatch. June retired from Wegmans after 26 years of dedicated service. June was an angel on earth who saw the best in everyone; and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Friends may call at the Fuller Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Buffalo Street Canandaigua, on Wednesday, October 16, from 3:00- 8:00 p.m. A 1:00 p.m. funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 17 at the funeral home.
