I was a teenager when Barb and John came to pastor at Gorham United Methodist Church. They had their young son Jimmy and a little dog named Corky with them. Barb was always there for us and our "big" problems we thought we had. She always had time with the many hats that she wore of wife, mother, choir leader, teaching school and the list goes on. She will always have a special place in my heart.

The Wolfe Family will always hold such a special place in our hearts and memories. John and Barbara both impacted our lives in a huge way. (I will miss not hearing Barb's cheerful voice even though it was infrequent in past years.) Our prayers go out to all of you on this great loss. Jim and Nancy

Jim and Tom...Your parents were two of my favorite people who I first met when I came to the Geneva FUMC in 1972. They always had a smile and words of encouragement for everyone whose paths they crossed. The last time I saw your mom was when she filled in as organist @ the Geneva Church a few years ago. Although nervous she went on faith that all would go well...and it did!! Barb was a warm, wonderful lady who lived her faith. Thinking of you both during this sad time.

Barb was one of my very favorite people. She and I shared a history that spanned over 50 years. She will be greatly missed. I am glad that she is at peace now in the arms of our Lord. God bless her and her beloved family

I worked with Barb at the church and at FFT. We had so much fun but she was the consummate lady. There will never be anyone who can replace her. I was lucky to have had her in my life

It might be daunting to some of us when you read Barbara's accomplishments, but to us, it was a part of her character that we admired. She was the most wonderful christian woman we have ever known. She always put you above herself. She will live in our hearts forever.

A strange time in our lives when we become orphans, when the one who held us first dies. Your mom was a powerful woman who changed lives. Though your new Iliff colleagues did not know her, I'm confident that they are surrounding you and Marilyn with acts of love and prayers. Be assured of our prayer.

Cindy and I will never forget the hours of laughter at Perkins as we planned 5th & 6th grade overnight church retreats with Barb. Barb and John were blessings and inspirations in our lives and in my parents' (Jim & Joyce) lives as well.

Barb related to people in a genuine way. When she represented Thompson Health as a Chaplain's Volunteer, people responded to her sincerity, her smile, her humor, and her ministry in providing spiritual care. She cared for people and blessed them with her presence. Her countenance radiated hope and assurance. Her faith was a strength for others. Barb lived the life given her by her Creator.
She was a delight to be with. Canandaigua has truly been blessed by such a wonderful treasure in the life of Barb Wolfe. It has been a cherished blessing for me for her to be in my life.

Manager of Spiritual Care Thompson Health

There never was and never will be anyone else like Barb Wolfe. We were lucky enough to work with Barb with the youth group of the Methodist Church in Canandaigua many years ago and even luckier to be able to call her our friend for many years after. She was the most genuine and loving person we've ever known, and we feel so fortunate to have had her in our lives. Our condolences to all her family, whom she loved so much and was so very proud of. We will all miss her terribly.
Love,
Sally and Dave
